Inés Badalo receives the Leonardo Grant from the BBVA Foundation
The composer Inés Badalo has received the Leonardo Grant from the BBVA Foundation for a new compositional project with the philosopher and poet Chantal Maillard, the soprano Johanna Vargas, the conductor Asier Puga and Grupo Enigma.

World Premiere of Rust
Inés Badalo is a guest composer at the next JONDE meeting, which will be held in Santiago de Compostela, where will be premiered her work “Rust”. The meeting will take place at the ‘Xornadas de Música Contemporánea’ along with the Trío Arbós, Joan Enric Lluna, Ensemble Modern and Pablo Rus.

The Real Filharmonía de Galicia presents its 2023-2024 season including the work Entropía by Inés Badalo
The Real Filharmonía de Galicia will perform Entropía in February 2024. The concert will take place at the Auditorio de Galicia on 22nd and at the Teatro Afundación (Vigo) on 23rd. It is the first season designed by Baldur Brönnimann as Artistic Director of the orchestra.

World Premiere of Sorriso audível das folhas in France
There will be a series of concerts in tribute to the composer Luis de Pablo in different parts of France, where the world premiere of the work Sorriso audível das folhas by Inés Badalo will take place. The work is commissioned by Densité 93.
The concert program will be performed by the Vocal Ensemble Soli-Tutti and the Instrumental Ensemble Densités, conducted by Denis Gautheyrie and Zahia Ziouani, respectively.
Inés Badalo wins the Composition Prize of the Colegio de España in Paris – INAEM
Inés Badalo is the winner of the Composition Prize of the Colegio de España in Paris – INAEM Spanish Ministry of Culture.
The Colegio de España, with the collaboration of the INAEM (National Institute of Performing Arts and Music) of the Ministry of Culture and Sports, has held annually since 1994 a Music Composition Award aimed at promoting Spanish musical creation in the field of music composition.

Inés Badalo wins the International Composition Prize Fernando Lopes-Graça
The jury unanimously decided to award the “VI International Composition Prize Fernando Lopes-Graça” to the work Black and White 180º JSB by the composer Inés Badalo. The work will be premiere by the pianists Saul Picado and Diana Botelho at the Cascais Cultural Centre (Portugal) on 17th December. This prize is one of the most pretigious Portuguese composition competitions.
